Frequent business travellers and holiday makers will be delighted to hear that there will soon be another flight service from the UK to Austin, Texas, via Amsterdam.
From the 4th of May 2020, KLM will expand the Air France-KLM transatlantic network to include Texas’s capital city, Austin. KLM will operate a direct flight between Schiphol and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This will be a great addition to KLM’s already existing service that also includes, Boston and Las Vegas.
For travellers looking to explore Austin, Texas, this southern state has a lot to offer! Known as the “Live Music Capital of the World,”. This energetic city centre has an abundance of music venues, mouthwatering BBQ restaurants, a flourishing art scene, motorsports events including the Formula One and is the host of the famous South by Southwest festival.
KLM will operate their Airbus A330-300 aircraft, a specific aircraft offering 30 World Business Class seats and 40 Economy Comfort seats. The flight will depart from Schiphol at 12:40pm and arrive at 16:10pm local time in Austin (Austin-Bergstrom International Airport). The aircraft will then depart from Austin at 18:00pm and arrives at Schiphol the next day at 10:25am.
