Often viewed as one of the world’s favourite luxury airlines, with Emirates lounges you can now be treated as a first class passenger (no matter what price you pay!). Emirates has opened its business and first class lounges to all passengers. So you can easily enjoy plush seats, Moet on tap, Italian espresso and delicate nibbles.
The quiet lounges in Dubai Airport will allow you some much-needed breathing space and downtime before your flight, so you can catch up on some important business emails, FaceTime with your loved ones, and relax with gourmet Michelin starred meals. All in all a luxury experience that everyone can now enjoy!
Whether you want the onsite spa and wine cellar included in the first class lounge, or the direct boarding and quiet areas in the business class lounge, you can still book an economy seat and enjoy all of these privileges for an extra fee.
Become Part of the Emirates Skywards Rewards Scheme
In order to access these privileges, you need to be a part of the Emirates Skywards Rewards Scheme.
Blue tier members are considered entry level. They can access the business class facilities at Dubai Airport at approximately 100 dollars for four hours, and 200 dollars to access the first class facilities.
If you regularly fly with Emirates, you may have clocked up enough points to be considered a Silver or Gold member. You will have complimentary entry to the business class lounge, but you can upgrade to the first class facilities for 100 dollars. You can also pay to bring along a friend or family member that you are travelling with.
This is a great chance to treat yourself and your loved ones to an exclusive experience that perhaps is unrivalled in other airports.
Once you reach platinum, you and one adult guest (plus two minors) can enjoy their first class lounges and business class lounges regardless of travel.
You Need to be Booked onto an Emirates Flight
In order to access the Emirates lounge, you need to be travelling on an Emirates or Qantas flight.
Alongside their prestigious lounge, Emirates offer its passengers plenty of perks which makes it one of the most popular airlines for luxury travel. One of these perks includes the My Emirates Pass.
You Need to be Travelling to Dubai
The main Emirates lounge is only located in Dubai airport, so to experience this one of a kind destination you will need to either be travelling to and from Dubai or if you are taking an around the world trip and Dubai is your stop off location.
Dubai is a stunning location that is revered by both celebrities and business people. The most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, it oozes luxury and exclusivity, being also the business hub for the Middle East. You can admire the towering skyscrapers that will glitter in the sun and then laze on sunloungers next to the turquoise Persian Gulf coast.
Considered the most expensive city in the Middle East, its architectural transformation since the 1960’s has astounded people around the world, and has become THE destination for the world’s elite.
If you are planning on going to Dubai, even if it just a stopover destination, the must-haves to do and see are the Burj Khalifa, Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, Jumeirah Mosque, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, The Dubai Mall, Dubai Gold Souk and Deira Perfume Souk. Consider it the perfect chance to indulge in one of the most luxurious destinations in the world.
