Paris. It is one of the greatest cities in the world and has an immeasurable number of attractions and events to see and take part in. It is not just all about the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysées and the Louvre though.

So close to the UK and easy to visit from any major UK airport, Paris is one of those places that you simply have to go back to time and time again. When you’re next jetting off to the French capital, consider taking the time to visit these places; you won’t regret it; mais non.

Palais De Tokyo – Amazing Art With The Space To See It

Okay, so we all go the Louvre and patiently wait in turn to see the Mona Lisa. And, if you take the time, the other exhibits throughout this most wonderful of institutions have equal merit. However, the simple reality is that is too busy most of the time and can quickly become hard work.

So, after you have had your fill, head for the delightful Palais de Tokyo.
The first thing that strikes you about ‘the Tokyo’ is the space. The second will be the challenging, contemporary, wonderful exhibitions – and you have the space to really enjoy them at your own pace.

It is certainly well worth taking the opportunity to visit Palais de Tokyo, along with the many other museums Paris has to offer. But, there is a warning. Palais de Tokyo also has a fantastic restaurant, Monsieur Bleu, which a certain M Macron has a tendency to visit. So this place may not be quite as quiet as it is now, for much longer.

La Cave de Belleville – Wine Without The Attitude

Countless people fly in to Paris with one thing at the forefront of their mind – wine. As much as the wine tasting tours of Paris are popular, they really can be altogether a little unnecessary. Wine in France is exceptional, while if you try to speak the language, the friendly waiting staff will be more than happy to tell you about the wine.

Alternatively, head for La Cave de Belleville.

One of the cooler places in Paris at the moment, you are immediately hit by the welcoming atmosphere. So, settle down with one of their wonderful meat and cheese platters, select a favoured (or recommended) wine, and tune in to one of the regular talks on wine.

Once fully rounded and bursting with knowledge, head out and into the night scene of Belleville and put your new found learning to the test.
