Long haul passengers from Scotland to America will be excited to hear the news that Delta Air Lines will be adding a new direct international route to Boston from Scotland. Starting in May 2019 Delta Air Lines will fly a daily direct service from Edinburgh Airport to Boston Logan.
The new route expands Delta’s current service between the U.K and Boston which includes flights from London Heathrow, offered both on Delta and joint venture partner Virgin Atlantic, as well as Virgin Atlantic’s service from Manchester.
Once launched on 23rd May 2019, the new schedule will operate as following:
Edinburgh Airport – Boston Logan International Airport
and
Boston Logan International Airport – Edinburgh Airport
The on-board Delta experience will be on a Boeing 757 aircraft equipped with 16 seats in business class (Delta One), 44 seats in premium economy (Delta Comfort+) and 108 seats in the economy cabin. Every seat includes access to Wi-Fi, free personal in-flight seat-back entertainment screens and power ports as well as complimentary beverages, snacks and meals.
Delta refer to their Business class cabins as Delta One. When travelling in Delta One you are travelling in pure style & luxury, with direct aisle access, luxurious seating which reclines into a fully-flat bed and plenty of space to kick back and relax.
Each seat comes complete with a state of the art flight entertainment system, LSTN noise cancelling headsets, Westin Heavenly In-Flight Bedding for a comfortable night’s sleep with an oversized duvet and down-alternative pillow, plus much more. There is no wonder it was voted in the top 10 of business class seats in 2018.
