Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure, it goes without saying that you want the journey to be as comfortable as possible. However, with so many options to choose from when comparing business class flights it can be difficult to know which company is best suited to your needs.
That’s where we come in. In addition to helping you unlock cheap business class flights, we also offer professional insight into how the different airlines operate and what you can expect when you board their flights. This review focuses on Cathay Pacific business class flights.
Expectations are high when you book a business class flight with a company that’s won the coveted award of “World’s Best Airline” four times, but you’ll be pleased to know that Cathay Pacific lives up to its reputation. The company aims to impress right from the get go, providing business class passengers well appointed preflight lounges to relax in before boarding. The lounge at Heathrow T3 is a particular treat; it was renovated toward the end of 2016 and now offers wonderful facilities, snacks, refreshments, showers and everything else the discerning business traveller might need.
Cathay Pacific prides itself on delivering a personal experience from the beginning of your business class flight to the end. The company achieves this is a number of different ways, but one of the most obvious is the fact that the flight attendants know you by name. It’s a small gesture, but it makes the experience of travelling that little bit nicer.
Step into the cabin and you’ll find Cathay Pacific’s much talked about reverse herringbone seats, which are installed in just about every aircraft in their long haul fleet. These seats are very versatile and can be configured in a number of different ways to meet your needs. Travelling with a friend, partner or colleague? Slide your seat forward so you can more easily converse with your companion. Want a bit more privacy? Simply slide the seat to the back. If you want to get some shut-eye, the seat can transform into a fully fledged bed that’s long enough to accommodate even the tallest of passengers.
After settling into your seats, a flight attendant will bring you a complimentary amenity kit containing a few items to help make your trip more comfortable. You’ll find the usual goodies – an eye mask, socks, earplugs, mouthwash and so on – but the skin care products are a thoughtful touch.
You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to entertainment options. Cathay Pacific business class flights offer a staggering range of films, TV shows, music and games that’ll keep you entertained for the duration of your business class flight. The screen is a good size and can be controlled via the touch screen or a remote if you want to lie down or sit back in your seat.
All in all, Cathay Pacific is an excellent choice for anyone who’s looking for a quality airline that focuses on comfort, personalised service and great entertainment options.
