An icon of the Dallas skyline, the Reunion Tower stands at 561 feet high making it not the highest building in the city, but certainly one of the most exciting. The GeO-Deck viewing platform at 470 feet offers 360 degree panoramic views from the floor as it revolves unveiling the city below.

A striking design that was completed in 1978, the building is spectacular in the evening as the lights come on. Experience a special meal in Wolfgang Pucks’ award winning restaurant, Five Sixty, for exceptional quality and service while having the best views in the city.

The Sixth Floor Museum

Now infamous for its role in the assassination of one of America’s most famous presidents, John F. Kennedy, the Texas Book Repository is a tall brick building located opposite Dealey Plaza. The sixth floor where Lee Harvey Oswald supposedly took his shot from has been transformed into a museum dedicated to the life, work, and assassination of the 35th President of the United States.

With permanent exhibits featuring historical footage, photos, and artefacts, admission also provides a self-guided audio tour bringing each display to life. Holidays to Dallas are not complete without standing at the window that the shot was fired from!

AT&T Stadium

Texas is football country according to the Americans, and the home of the city’s famous NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys, lies to the west of the city centre in Arlington. Host of the 2011 Super Bowl, as well as the college league The Cotton Bowl, the stadium has a pedigree not many in the world can argue.

With a capacity of 100,000 under its retractable roof, the atmosphere is electric during the NFL season between September and December, with the playoffs in January. Even if in the off season, the stadium is well worth a tour due to the Cowboys many trophies and accolades, including the five Super Bowl trophies, the second highest in the league.
