Holidays to Brisbane aren’t complete without a trip to the premier shopping district – a pedestrianised zone in the city centre with Queen Street Mall at its heart. Alternatively, Australia Zoo is situated only 30 minutes from the coast and has entertainment for the whole family. Showcasing Australia’s native fauna from Echidnas to Crocodiles, you can get up close and personal with the animals. Crikey!
Further afield and a short domestic flight from Brisbane are the idealic islands of Fraser Island and the Whitsunday Islands.
